This is an action brought in the General Sessions Court to recover damages on a charge of assault and battery and illegal search of the person. Billy Marlar, a boy between ten and eleven, resides with his mother in Memphis and was attending a public school, of which Miss Bill was Superintendent, and he was in the class room of Miss Browning. They are both experienced teachers of excellent reputation.- The boy violated a school regulation in going into the class room during recess and raising the windows.
