Plaintiff had verdict- and judgment against defendant in the sum of $1,300 for damages sustained by him on the afternoon of February 19, 1916, in a collision between a coal wagon he was *631driving across defendant’s tracks and one of its northbound street cars. The accident occurred at the intersection of Pleasant street, along which he was driving east, and Lafayette avenue, along which defendant’s double track extended north and south.
