The question in this appeal is the liability of an administrator for failure to sell bank stock belonging to the decedent’s estate.

One Rodney J. Park, who was a farmer of Ottawa county, died intestate June 5, 1928, leaving a widow, Adella, and two daughters, Yelna Fay Hess and Della V. Park, as his heirs. At the time of his death and for some years prior, Park had owned eighteen shares in the Farmers State Bank of Tescott and had been a director of the bank.
