The Prudential Insurance Company brought an action to foreclose a mortgage held by it on certain real property in Seattle. A decree of foreclosure was duly entered, and the property was thereafter sold and bid in at the sale by the mortgagee for the full amount of its judgment. A petition was then filed seeking a writ of assistance to put the mortgagee purchaser in possession of the premises.
