DELEHANT, District Judge.

The plaintiff, a citizen of Nebraska, in his complaint demands judgment for two thousand dollars against the defendant, under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C.A. § 921 et seq.

In a supplementary motion, the defendant asks that the action be dismissed “for the reason that the court is without jurisdiction to entertain the claim of $2,000.00 asserted by the complaint”; and its point is that, absent a controversy exceeding, exclusive of interest and costs, the sum or value of three thousand dollars, 28 U.S.C.A. § 41(1), jurisdiction must be denied.
