This is a summary judgment case. In the court below, Andrew and Cynthia Blanche sued First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation alleging various causes of action, generally contending the company wrongfully reported them as delinquent on their mortgage payments and thereby ruined their credit history. The Blanches appeal the judgment granted in favor of First Nationwide, arguing first that the company’s motion for summary judgment was void because it was not signed by the attorney in charge.
