Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Breslin, J.), rendered January 18, 2006, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of manslaughter in the first degree.
In satisfaction of an indictment charging him with murder in the second degree and other crimes, defendant entered a guilty plea to manslaughter in the first degree for the shooting death of Jihhad Scales in the early morning hours of July 6, 2005 in the City of Albany.
