This is an action on the case, brought by the defendant in error in the circuit court of Marion county against the plaintiff in error, to recover damages for a personal injury sustained by the defendant in error while in the act of alighting from a passenger train upon which she was a passenger. The jury returned a verdict in favor of defendant in error for $2000, upon which, after overruling a motion for a new trial, the court rendered judgment, which judgement has been affirmed by the Appellate Court for the Fourth District, and this writ of error has been sued out to reverse said judgment…
