Compass Bank and Compass Bancshares, Inc. (hereinafter referred to jointly as "the Compass defendants"), appeal from a class-certification order obtained by the plaintiffs in this case, who are present and former customers of the Compass defendants (hereinafter referred to as "the plaintiff customers").
