LARSON, Chief Judge:

Pursuant to his pleas, the appellant was convicted of two specifications of indecent acts with a child and one specification of indecent acts with another, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 934, and of sodomy, in violation of Article 125, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 925. He was sentenced to confinement for 8 years, total forfeitures, reduction to pay grade E-l and a dishonorable discharge. The convening authority approved the sentence but suspended confinement in excess of 5 years for 12 months in accordance with the pretrial agreement.
