A writ of habeas corpus was issued by the district court upon the petition of Rayburn Burris and Myrtle Burris challenging the right of Wray Hiller, Jr., and his wife, Dorothy Hiller, to the custody of John Bradley Hiller, born December 6, 1957. After a hearing, the trial court awarded custody to the petitioners who are the maternal grandparents of said minor child. Dorothy Hiller and Wray Hiller, Jr., have appealed to this court where a referee was appointed with directions to take and report to this court the evidence which the parties desired to submit, without findings by…
