STEPHENSON, Justice.

This is an action for damages for breach of an employment contract. Trial was by jury and judgment was rendered for plaintiff upon the jury verdict. The parties will be referred to here as they were in the trial court.

James Curry brought this action against Sylvania Electric Products, Inc., and Syl-vania Technical Systems, Inc., alleging the following, in substance: That defendants on or about January 30, 1970, solicited and engaged the services of plaintiff as a foreman-steel rigger on a microwave project in Cameroon, Africa.
