Plaintiff had a verdict for $500 in a personal injury action. On defendant’s alternative motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or a new trial, judgment was ordered for defendant. Plaintiff appeals from the order.

Defendant owned and operated a restaurant known as the Peoples Cafe, in Virginia, Minnesota, at the time of the accident here involved. On February 21, 1912, plaintiff accompanied her former husband, Charles Johnson, on an automobile trip to Eveleth and Gilbert, where he went to inspect lights in connection with his duties as superintendent…
