Milestone Contractors, L.P. (Milestone) appeals denials by two trial courts of its motions for judgment on the pleadings after Indiana Bell Telephone Company, Inc. d/b/a Ameritech (Ameritech) sued Milestone for damage allegedly caused to its cables by Milestone’s excavation. . Milestone moved for judgment on the pleadings because the applicable statute of limitations, which Milestone claimed was two years, had lapsed to allow Ameritech to bring its suit.
