Tbe residue of tbe testator’s estate was devised to petitioners in trust. Tbe residue of an estate comprehends all of tbe estate left by tbe testator at tbe time of bis death, subject to all deductions required by operation of law or by direction of tbe testator. Conversely stated, tbe residue is that part of tbe corpus of tbe estate left by tbe testator which remains after tbe payment of specific legacies, taxes, debts, and costs of administration.
