The majority opinion has concluded that “Were we to sit as a ‘thirteenth juror’ in this cause, and pass upon the weight and preponderance of the evidence to show absence of sudden passion, we might be inclined to reverse and remand for a new trial ... It is clear, however, that this Court does not have such jurisdiction. Combs v. State, 643 S.W.2d 709 (Tex.Cr. App.1982).” (Page 690 of opinion.)
