HOLLAND, Justice.

The defendant, George T. Atkins, was indicted for Delivery of Cocaine and Conspiracy Second Degree. A co-defendant, John Brokenbrough was indicted for Delivery of Cocaine. In addition, Mary Scott, a second co-defendant, was indicted for Delivery of Cocaine and other related offenses. Scott later pled guilty to reduced charges. After Atkin’s motion to sever his trial from Brokenbrough’s trial was denied, Scott, pursuant to her plea agreement, testified as a witness for the State at the joint trial of Atkins and Brokenbrough.
