MEMORANDUM OPINION
BLACKWELL N. SHELLEY, Bankruptcy Judge.
This matter comes before the Court on the motion of the defendant, James H. Marx, Jr., to file a late notice of appeal. By order entered April 22, 1993, the Court allowed the trustee to recover from the defendant certain fraudulent conveyances, a preferential transfer, and unauthorized post-petition transfers. The defendant missed by one day the deadline for filing a notice of appeal and now seeks to have the Court grant an extension of time to file a notice of appeal under the “excusable neglect” provision of Federal Rule of Bankruptcy…
