The record in this case discloses that during the years 1924, 1925 and 1926 the City of Clermont issued several thousand dollars of its bonds and on July 1, 1939, bonds of the par value of $884,300.00 were then outstanding and unpaid, with accrued interest to the aforesaid date in the amount of $440,117.00.
