Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Columbia County (Nichols, J.), entered December 17, 2007, which granted petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Social Services Law § 384-b, to adjudicate respondents’ children to be permanently neglected, and terminated respondents’ parental rights.
Respondents are the parents of Laelani B. (born in 2003) and Sasha B. (born in 2004). In December 2005, petitioner removed the children and placed them in a foster care home, where they have remained. After a hearing, Family Court determined that the children had been neglected. Pursuant to…
