As in Associates Capital Corp. v. Cookeville Production Credit Ass’n, 569 S.W.2d 474 (Tenn.Ct.App.1978), the issue in this case is whether a mobile home that has had its wheels removed and has been affixed to realty is subject to the Tennessee Motor Vehicle Title and Registration Law, Title 55 of the Tennessee Code. If so, the security interest of Transouth Financial Corporation (Transouth), noted on a certificate of title to the home, is perfected and takes priority over the deed of trust of First National Bank and Trust Company (Bank), whose lien is…
