On November 23, 1957, the accused was convicted by general court-martial of committing forty-one separate larcenies. The specifications alleged that he, in conjunction with other named airmen, on certain dates, stole United States currency in varying amounts in the aggregate sum of $22,832. He was sentenced to be dishonorably discharged from the service, to forfeit all pay and allowances, and to be confined at hard labor for ten years.
