OPINION

PEAY, Judge.

The defendant was charged in the indictment with nine counts of forgery and nine counts of passing a forged instrument. On December 15, 1993, he pled guilty to all nine counts of forgery. At the sentencing hearing on February 9, 1994, the trial court dismissed all nine counts of passing a forged instrument as duplicative of the nine counts of forgery. The trial court sentenced the defendant to the statutory maximum of two years on each count and ordered the sentences on counts stemming from forgeries occurring on separate days to be served consecutively.
