This is an appeal by the Arkansas State Highway Commission from a jury verdict and a judgment thereon, awarding appellees the sum of $80,000.00,1 including interest at the rate of 10% per annum, for 0.38 of an acre of land condemned in an eminent domain action in connection with the widening of United States Highways 71 and 271. The land is located near Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, and the improvements thereon consist of a grocery store and service station operation.
