for the Court.

Victor M. Lopez (Lopez or defendant) appeals from a Superior Court judgment of conviction for breaking and entering and for felony assault with a dangerous weapon by choking with his hands. On appeal, Lopez contends that the trial justice erred in denying his motion for a new trial; erred in not permitting him to question the jurors during voir dire about the reliability of eyewitness testimony; and erred in denying his motion for a judgment of acquittal on the charge of felony assault.
