This is a divorce action, based upon the ground of cruelty, instituted by Jennie Colasurdo against her husband, Angelo Colasurdo. Defendant, by his answer, denied the allegations of cruelty contained in the com plaint, and, by his cross-complaint, he also asked that a decree be awarded to him on the ground of cruelty.

The cause came on for hearing before the court on March 21, 1946, was continued on March 22nd and March 25th, and thereafter continued to March 30, 1946, being concluded on April 8, 1946, as shown by the preliminary statement to the findings of fact. On April 19, 1946, the court…
