This is an appeal by plaintiffs from an adverse summary judgment in a civil rights action based on alleged violations of substantive and procedural due process. Seventeen former employees 1 of Mississippi Valley State University and Jackson State University brought this action against the Board of Trustees and other university and state officials, 2 alleging due process violations in connection with the premature termination of their one-year contracts of employment.
