This action was brought in the municipal court of Minneapolis to recover the value of services alleged to have been performed by plaintiff. Garnishment proceedings were instituted, and the Winnor-Tor-gerson Lumber Company made garnishee. On the return day of the summons, the garnishee appeared and disclosed that it was indebted to defendant in the sum of $293.20. Defendant, through its attorneys, ■appeared specially and moved to discharge the garnishee and release the property from the garnishment, and for an order dismissing the action on the ground that the court had no jurisdiction over…
