This matter is before the court upon motion by Plaintiffs for entry of judgment by default against Defendant Jocelyn Gaines.
I.PROCEDURAL HISTORY
Plaintiffs filed this copyright infringement action against Defendant on August 13, 2008, alleging violations of the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 101, et seq. See Compl. [DE-1]. The record shows that on March 5, 2009, Defendant was served with process pursuant to Rule 4 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure by delivery of a copy of the summons and of the complaint to Defendant personally.
