Petitioner-appellant, William Cain, appeals the district court’s dismissal of his writ of habeas corpus against respondent-appellee, Robert Redman. For the following reasons, we affirm.

Petitioner, William Cain, filed this application for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On September 23, 1971, a jury in the Genesee County Circuit Court of Michigan convicted petitioner of first degree murder in the fatal shooting of I.C. Blackman.
