The real estate involved in this foreclosure action was formerly owned by Isaac Blanchard. On May 26, 1875, he mortgaged the property in question to the Erie County Savings Bank. On August 25, 1928, the bank assigned the mortgage, together with the accompanying bond, to the plaintiffs in this action. Mr. Blanchard died intéstate, leaving as his only heirs at law five children, Mary Jane B. Bailey, Martha B. Whitehead, Maria B. Francis, Nancy Blanchard and Charles I.
