This is an appeal from a decision of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Leonard B. Sand, Judge, which granted judgment to plaintiff, Banque Franco-Hellenique de Commerce International et Maritime, S.A. (“the bank”).1 Plaintiff is a Greek banking corporation and defendant is a United States citizen residing in Connecticut.
