THE COURT.

This proceeding is a review (as distinguished from certiorari) of an action of the board of governors of The State Bar, wherein by a vote of ten members voting in favor thereof, as opposed by a vote of three members, it was recommended to this court that the petitioner herein, Fred J. Furman, “be disbarred from the practice of the law in the State of California”. Prior to the presentation to this court of the said recommendation, the local administrative committee of The State Bar before which had been produced practically the identical evidence on the hearing of the charges that…
