Introduction
In this employment discrimination ac tion, 1 the plaintiff John Williams (“Williams”) claims that his former employer, Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance (“Wells Fargo”), discriminated against him on the basis of his race when it terminated his employment because he sent emails that contained sexually suggestive and otherwise inappropriate jokes or picture attachments in violation of its Information Security and Sexual Harassment policies.
