Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (“SABIC”), the counterclaim defendant below, appeals from a $416.8 million Superior Court judgment entered against SABIC and in favor of SABIC’s joint venture partners, Mobil Yanbu Petroleum Company (“Mobil”) and Exxon Chemical Arabia, Inc. (“Exxon”). 2 SABIC brought this action in the Superior Court of Delaware, seeking a declaratory judgment that any payments made to SABIC by the joint venture partnerships were not overcharges that violated any applicable contract.
