| ^Defendant Jason Bennett was charged by a bill of indictment with one count of vehicular homicide, in violation of La.R.S. 14:32.1. Mr. Bennett pled no contest to the charge and was sentenced to twenty years at hard labor with the Department of Corrections, with eight of those years suspended and five years of supervised probation upon release.
