Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Smith, J.), rendered December 17, 2003, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
Defendant, an inmate, pleaded guilty to the crime of promoting prison contraband in the first degree in satisfaction of a two-count indictment arising from his unlawful possession of marihuana while he was incarcerated.
