TJOFLAT, Circuit Judge:

Appellant William David Lively brings this appeal from his conviction in federal district court for conspiring to distribute cocaine. 1 He seeks a new trial on three independent grounds: (1) the district court erred in refusing to instruct the jury that once a co-conspirator becomes a government informer he can no longer be a member of the conspiracy; (2) the district court erred in refusing to instruct the jury that a mere buyer/seller relationship does not by itself establish a conspiracy between buyer and seller; and (3) the district court abused its discretion in…
