This is an appeal from a verdict and sentence for the crime of manslaughter. The accused was first prosecuted upon an information charging her with the crime of “shooting with intent to commit murder.” The case was allotted to section B of the criminal district court. On arraignment of the accused, upon said charge, in that court, she pleaded guilty to the charge, and under this plea she was sentenced to serve not less than one nor more than three years, at hard labor, in the state penitentiary.
