Charlotte Schwantes appeals from a judgment of divorce awarding custody of the parties’ three, minor children to her former husband Gerald Schwantes. The divorce itself was granted during a contested custody hearing on February 17, 1982. Following that hearing, the trial court issued a memorandum decision finding that both parties were fit parents and awarding custody to Charlotte, on the condition that she terminate her relationship with one Trevor Busst. The precise terms of the property division and the amount of child support to be paid to Charlotte were deferred for voluntary resolution…
