In 1894, Mr. R. N. Grant became a member of the Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society of Omaha, Nebraska. At that time he applied for and secured a certificate for $2,000 life insurance. For fifty years he paid his premiums or dues, up until the time of his death in 1944. His widow, who was beneficiary in the certificate, filed proper proofs of death with the Society but it refused pay*293ment and rejected her claim upon the sole ground that the payment for January, 1944, had not been paid on time.
