¶ 1. On January 28, 2004, Richard Hobgood was convicted in the Hinds County Circuit Court, First Judicial District, of sexual battery of a child under the age of 14, pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. Section 97-3-95(1)(d). He was sentenced to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. Section 97-3-101(3).
