OPINION OF THE COURT

MARDEN, Senior Judge:

Appellant was convicted, contrary to his pleas, of a violation of a lawful general *895regulation by unlawfully discharging a firearm in an unauthorized area and of wrongfully and willfully discharging a firearm under circumstances such as to endanger human life in violation of Articles 92 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892 and 934 (1982). Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for one year and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
