MURPHY, Circuit Judge.
This action arises out of an automobile accident in which Rhonda Wisland sustained a personal injury. The district court 1 granted summary judgment for Admiral Beverage Corporation and Paul Mayer (collectively referred to as Admiral) because it concluded that the South Dakota statute of limitations had run on Wisland’s tort claim because of untimely service. Wisland argues on appeal that Wisconsin law should have been applied, that the district court erred by allowing Admiral to amend its answer to include the statute of limitations as an affirmative defense, and that…
