This is in response to your request for an opinion concerning the following:
The use of the Arkansas Wild Card Statute Sec. 23-47-101 (c) the Arkansas Banking Code of 1997 to authorize the investment proposal of Mercantile Bank, North Little Rock, Arkansas, to organize a limited liability company under the laws of the State of Illinois that will be an operating subsidiary of Mercantile Bank.
