— In October, 1907, an action was instituted in tbe circuit court of Jackson county by tbe State of Missouri at tbe relation of its attorney-general against-tbe Bankers Trust Company, a corporation organized under tbe laws of Missouri, relating to trust companies. Tbe company bad become insolvent and tbe purpose of tbe action was to wind up its affairs for tbe benefit of its creditors and stockholders.
