On conviction of the offense commonly known as that of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, defendant was sentenced to a term of eighteen months in the county jail. He appeals from the judgment.

Subdivision 11 of section 1 of the Juvenile Court Law (Stats. 1915, p. 1225, as variously amended), contains the provision that it shall apply to one “who is leading, or from any cause is in danger of leading, an idle, dissolute, lewd or immoral life”; and by section 21 of the same act, among other things, it is provided that “any person who shall commit any act or omit the performance of any…
