The parties will be referred to as petitioner and respondent. Respondent sustained an accidental injury resulting in a head injury on June 8, 1937, while employed as a laborer for the petitioner in one of the industries and trades covered by the Workmen’s Compensation Law. On February 19, 1938, the State Industrial Commission entered its award of which complaint is made.

There were two hearings; one on the 29th day of November, 1937, and one on the 22nd day of December, 1937, after which the case was submitted. On January 3, 1938, the State Industrial Commission entered an order, later…
