MEMORANDUM OPINION

KATZ, District Judge.

This matter is before the Court on Defendant’s Motion to Dismiss, or in the alternative for Summary Judgment (Doc. No. 34). The Court has jurisdiction to decide this matter pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-5(f)(3). For the reasons stated below, Defendant’s motion will be granted.

Background

On March 11, 1999, Plaintiff Jamie McFarland (“McFarland”) began employment with Defendant United States Postal Service’s (“Postal Service”) main station in Toledo, Ohio. McFarland was designated a “Casual Mailhandler,” which meant that she was a temporary or part-time…
