Davis was convicted by a Leflore County jury for attempted armed robbery of a Dollar Tree store employee and sentenced to a term of twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with ten years to be served, followed by ten years of post-release supervision, with five years supervised and five years unsupervised.
